The Audikast transmitter includes a headphone locking function designed to ensure seamless reconnection to previously paired headphones. When this function is enabled, the transmitter will automatically reconnect to the locked headphones whenever it powers on.
If your transmitter shows a solid blue light instead of flashing red and blue lights alternately (which indicates pairing mode), it’s likely that a pair of headphones has been accidentally locked to the transmitter. This can happen if the "Pair" button was long-pressed, causing the transmitter to lock onto the most recently connected headphones.
To connect a new pair of headphones, please try the following:
Option 1: Unlock and Re-pair
- Turn off the currently locked headphones.
- Put the new headphones and Audikast into pairing mode.
- Pair the transmitter with the new headphones.
- Once connected, press and hold the "Pair" button for 10 seconds to lock the new headphones. Moving forward, the transmitter will automatically reconnect to this newly paired set when powered on.
Option 2: Contact Us
If you continue to experience issues, please contact us for a replacement transmitter with updated settings for the locking function.
