Solid Blue Bluetooth Light?

Your headphones may be locked to Audikast

If Audikast stays solid blue instead of flashing red and blue, the headphone locking function may be active.

What should the Bluetooth indicator look like?

Solid Blue Audikast is reconnecting to the headphones currently locked to the transmitter.

Flashing Red & Blue Audikast is in Bluetooth pairing mode and ready to connect.

Why does this happen?

Audikast has a headphone locking function that helps it automatically reconnect to previously paired headphones. If the PAIR button was long-pressed, Audikast may have locked onto the most recently connected headphones.

Unlock & Pair New Headphones

If you want to connect a different pair of headphones, follow these steps.

Turn off the currently locked headphones

Power OFF the headphones that Audikast keeps reconnecting to.

This prevents Audikast from automatically reconnecting to them.

Put the new headphones into pairing mode

Make sure the new headphones are in actual Bluetooth pairing mode, not simply powered on.

Put Audikast into pairing mode

Put the Audikast transmitter into Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator should begin flashing RED and BLUE alternately.

PAIR Use the PAIR control for the headphone connection you want to change.

Flashing RED & BLUE = Pairing mode

Wait for the new headphones to connect

Keep the new headphones close to Audikast and allow them to pair.

Solid BLUE = Connected

Want Audikast to remember the new headphones?

After the new headphones are connected, press and hold the PAIR button for 10 seconds. This locks the new headphones to Audikast so it can automatically reconnect to them the next time it powers on.

Hold PAIR for 10 seconds

Done

Audikast should now automatically reconnect to the newly locked headphones when the transmitter is powered on.
