Audikast - How to Add a Second Pair of Headphones? – Avantree Support

Audikast can connect to two pairs of Bluetooth headphones at the same time. Connect the first pair before adding the second.

Connect your first pair of headphones

Pair and connect your first headphones to Audikast before adding the second pair.

First headphones = connected

Add Your Second Pair

Once the first pair is connected, follow these steps.

Keep the first headphones connected

Leave your first pair of headphones powered on and connected to Audikast.

Put Audikast back into pairing mode

Press and hold the second-headphone button shown below until the nearby Bluetooth / Chain indicator flashes RED and BLUE alternately.

Watch the indicator next to the button — your Audikast may use either symbol:

Bluetooth

Chain

The symbol depends on your Audikast version.

Flashing RED & BLUE = Audikast is in pairing mode

Put your second headphones into pairing mode

Put the second pair of headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode. Keep the headphones and Audikast close together and wait for them to connect.

Headphones keep connecting to a phone? Temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or other devices that were previously paired with the headphones.

Solid BLUE Bluetooth / Chain indicator = Connected

Both headphones are connected

Once connected, the Bluetooth / Chain indicator next to the second-headphone button will turn solid blue.

Using true wireless earbuds?

Dual-headphone support works with most Bluetooth headphones, but certain true wireless earbuds may not perform optimally in dual-headphone mode.

Second Headphones Won't Connect?

The indicator stays solid blue instead of flashing

Audikast has not entered pairing mode. Press and hold the second-headphone button again until its nearby Bluetooth / Chain indicator flashes red and blue alternately.

The headphones keep connecting to another device

Temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, TVs, or other devices previously paired with those headphones.

Then put the headphones into pairing mode again.

Both are in pairing mode but still won't connect

Keep the second headphones close to Audikast.
Confirm the headphones are actually in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby previously paired devices.
Put both Audikast and the second headphones into pairing mode again.
