SETUP 1

HT380 – Connect the Dock to Your TV

Choose one TV audio connection, then connect the HT380 dock.

Before you start: Check the audio ports on your TV. Do not turn the TV or HT380 ON yet.

Look for one of these TV ports: Optical, Headphone / AUX Out, or Red / White RCA Audio Out.

Important: Red and white RCA ports must be labeled AUDIO OUT. RCA ports labeled AUDIO IN will not work.

Option 1 – Optical Connection (Recommended)

Connect the optical cable from the TV’s OPTICAL / DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port to the HT380 dock’s OPTICAL input.

Option 2 – AUX / Headphone Connection

Connect the 3.5 mm AUX cable from the TV’s Headphone / AUX OUT port to the HT380 dock’s AUX input.

Option 3 – Red / White RCA Connection

Connect the red and white RCA cable from the TV’s AUDIO OUT ports to the matching red and white RCA inputs on the HT380 dock.

Option 4 – The TV Audio Port Is Too Far Away

Use a suitable extension cable or connect through another audio device that has an available audio output.

Option 5 – Using an AV Receiver or Soundbar

Connect the HT380 dock to an available Audio OUT port on your AV receiver or soundbar.
