Medley Clear – How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History
If your Medley Clear headphones and transmitter are not connecting correctly, reset both devices to clear old Bluetooth connections.
Good to Know
The original Medley Clear transmitter and NB18T headphones were paired and locked together at the factory. Resetting clears other saved Bluetooth connections, but the original set should still remember each other.
Before You Start
Reset both devices:
1. Medley Clear transmitter
2. NB18T headphones
Also turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, TVs, and other devices previously connected to the headphones.
Step 1 – Reset the Transmitter
Make sure the Medley Clear transmitter is ON.
Find the ON / OFF / PAIR switch.
Hold the switch toward PAIR for 5 seconds
After the reset, the transmitter will enter pairing mode.
Once you confirm the reset, turn the transmitter OFF.
Didn't see Pink? Make sure the transmitter is ON and hold the switch toward PAIR for the full 5 seconds.
Step 2 – Reset the NB18T Headphones
Make sure the NB18T headphones are ON.
Press and hold the + and − buttons together for 7 seconds.
The headphones will then automatically enter pairing mode.
Once you confirm the reset, turn the headphones OFF.
Didn't see Pink or hear “DU DU”? Turn the headphones ON and press + and − together for the full 7 seconds.
Turn Them Back On and Reconnect
- Turn the Medley Clear transmitter ON.
- Turn the NB18T headphones ON.
- Keep them close together.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Do not press any other buttons while they reconnect.
The original transmitter and headphones should automatically reconnect.
Something Doesn't Look Right?
Headphones Connect to My Phone Instead?
Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, TVs, and other Bluetooth devices previously paired with the headphones.
Then turn the transmitter and headphones OFF and back ON. Keep them close and wait a few seconds.
Transmitter Does Not Turn Pink?
Make sure the transmitter is ON. Hold the switch toward PAIR for the full 5 seconds.
Headphones Do Not Turn Pink?
Make sure the headphones are ON. Press + and − together and hold both for the full 7 seconds.
Red and Blue Flashing After the Reset?
This is normal. It means the pairing history has been cleared and the device is ready to connect.
Red and Blue flashing = Pairing Mode
