Voyager – How To Prevent Automatic Shutdown

Firmware V20.6.9: Allows Voyager to remain powered ON continuously, even when no audio signal is detected. This prevents automatic shutdown during long periods of silence, so Voyager stays ready to use when audio resumes.

Step 1 – Download and Open the Firmware Updater

1. Choose the download for your computer:
   Download for Windows →Download for macOS →
2. Install the Avantree Firmware Updater.
3. Open the Avantree Firmware Updater.

Step 2 – Connect Your Voyager

1. Connect Voyager to your computer using a USB data cable (not a charging-only cable).
2. Wait for the updater to detect Voyager.

Device not detected? Try another USB port or USB data cable.

Step 3 – Update the Firmware & Factory Reset

1. Open the Firmware Updater, install firmware V20.6.9.
2. Wait until the installation is complete.
3. Once the firmware update is complete, follow the Voyager Factory Reset Guide → to reset Voyager.
