Before You Start: No sound may mean the earbuds are not connected to the transmitter, the airplane audio jack is not sending sound, or the volume is too low. Follow these three steps to check.
Step 1 – Check the Earbud Connection
Turn on the Sky Ace transmitter and open the earbud charging case. The original set is factory paired and should connect automatically.

How to Pair, Connect & Lock the Earbuds →Step 2 – Check the Audio Connection
Make sure the Sky Ace transmitter is connected to an audio source that has sound.
- Plug the transmitter into the airplane’s audio jack or another audio source with a 3.5 mm AUX connection.
- If the airplane has a two-prong audio jack, use the included airline adapter.
- Start a movie, music, or other audio and confirm the source is playing.
Step 3 – Check the Volume & Restart
- Press or hold the transmitter’s volume control to raise the volume. Also raise the volume on the airplane entertainment system if it has a volume control.
- Make sure the audio source is not muted. Try another movie, channel, or audio program.
- Turn off the transmitter, close and reopen the earbud case, then turn the transmitter back on and test again.
