How to Join an Auracast Broadcast Using a QR Code？

You can use a QR code from the Avantree Firmware Updater to help compatible hearing aids join your transmitter’s Auracast broadcast.

Compatible transmitters: Audikast 4, Audikast 4HA, Oasis Aura, and AirCast.

Download the Firmware Updater

Download and install the Avantree Firmware Updater on your computer.

Connect and Check for Updates

Connect the transmitter to your computer using a USB data cable. Open the updater and confirm that the transmitter has the latest firmware. If an update is available, update it first.

Open the QR Code

Click Advanced in the Firmware Updater. The QR code will appear on the screen.

Scan with the Hearing Aid App

Open the Auracast or broadcast-assistant feature in your hearing aid app, select its QR-code scanner, and scan the code shown in the updater.

Once the QR code is recognized, follow the prompts in the hearing aid app to join the broadcast.
