Before You Start: Your headphones may fail to reconnect because of wireless interference, a temporary connection issue, or an incorrect wireless mode. Follow these steps to restore the connection.
Step 1 – Reduce Wireless Interference
- Turn OFF the TV and Bluetooth on nearby phones, tablets, or computers previously paired with the headphones.
- Keep the headphones within 3 feet (1 meter) of the transmitter.
- Move the transmitter away from Wi-Fi routers, TV boxes, and other wireless devices.
Step 2 – Restart Both Devices
Check the headphone lights:
Solid Orange – Connected to the transmitter.
Flashing Orange – Searching for a connection.
- Turn OFF the transmitter and both headphones.
- Wait 10 seconds, then turn the transmitter ON.
- Turn the headphones ON and wait 5–10 seconds for them to reconnect.
Solid orange? Your headphones are connected. Play audio to check that they work.
Step 3 – Reconnect Using Auracast Mode
The headphones must be in Auracast Mode to receive audio from the Duet Aura transmitter.
- Make sure the transmitter is ON.
- Press and hold the headphones’ Play/Pause (⏯) button until the light flashes orange.
- Wait for the light to turn solid orange.
Have two headphones? Repeat these steps for the second pair if it is also disconnected.
