Duet Aura headphones can stay connected to the Auracast transmitter and a Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer at the same time.
How Dual-Mode Works
Connect Your Phone, Tablet, or Computer
Make sure TV audio is already working through the Duet Aura transmitter first.
Open Bluetooth Settings
Open the Bluetooth menu on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode
Hold the headphone power switch in the Pair with Phone position for 3 seconds.
Select Duet Aura
Select the Duet Aura headphones from your device's Bluetooth list.
Important: Dual-Mode Is Primarily for TV + Phone Calls
Keeping both connections active is useful when watching TV and waiting for an incoming phone call. For extended Bluetooth media listening, such as watching videos or listening to music on a phone, iPad, tablet, or computer, we recommend turning off the TV transmitter first.
Using Dual-Mode
Watch TV
Listen to the Duet Aura transmitter through Auracast as usual.
Switch Audio
Press the Play/Pause (⏯) button once to switch between Auracast and Bluetooth.
Answer a Call
If a call comes in while watching TV, you will hear the ringtone. Press Play/Pause (⏯) once to answer.
Press the Play/Pause (⏯) button once to switch back to Auracast.
Listening to Bluetooth Audio for a Longer Time?
If you want to watch videos, listen to music, podcasts, or other Bluetooth audio for an extended period, avoid repeatedly switching between the Auracast transmitter and Bluetooth source.
- Turn off the Duet Aura transmitter completely.
- Use the headphones in Phone/Bluetooth mode.
- Connect Duet Aura from your phone, tablet, iPad, or computer's Bluetooth settings.
- Play your Bluetooth audio normally.
