Start with the TV connection, then use the transmitter and headphone lights to find where the problem is.
Follow These Checks in Order
Stop when the sound returns.
Match the Cable and Input Selector
Make sure the cable is connected to a TV audio OUT port and the transmitter selector matches the connection you are using.
Check the Transmitter Audio Signal Light
Play a TV program with sound and look at the Audio Signal light on the transmitter.
Flashing White? Go directly to your TV connection settings.Check the Headphone Connection
If the transmitter is receiving TV audio but you still hear nothing, check the headphone LED.
Connected to the Auracast transmitter. Continue to Step 4.
Searching for an Auracast broadcast. Keep the headphones near the transmitter and wait for solid orange.
Connected through Bluetooth instead of the Auracast transmitter.
Test the Sound
Play a regular TV channel or another program with clear speech, then raise the headphone volume.
Flashing White? Check Your TV Connection
Choose the connection you are using.
Using Optical
- TV Sound Output: Optical / Digital Audio Out / External Speaker
- Digital Audio Format: PCM or Stereo
- Transmitter Input: OPT
Dolby, DTS, Bitstream, or Auto may prevent the transmitter from receiving compatible audio. Find the PCM setting for your TV brand .
Using HDMI ARC
- TV Port: HDMI port labeled ARC or eARC
- TV Sound Output: HDMI ARC / Receiver
- eARC: Off
- Digital Audio Format: PCM or Stereo
- Transmitter Input: HDMI ARC

Using AUX / 3.5 mm
- TV Sound Output: Headphones / Audio Out
- TV Volume: Raise it to a normal listening level
- Transmitter Input: AUX
PCM is normally not required for an analog AUX connection.
Sound Working?
You're done. No other settings need to be changed.
TV Sound Works, but Netflix, Roku, Fire TV, or Another Source Has No Sound
If normal TV audio works, the issue may be the audio format from the app, streaming device, or cable box.
