No sound usually means Audikast 4 is not receiving the TV audio, your listening device is not connected, or the transmitter is in the wrong mode. Choose how you're listening below.
Check these 3 things first
You can usually find the cause by checking the TV audio signal, listening mode, and connection.

Use this if your hearing aids join the Audikast 4 Auracast broadcast.

Check the TV audio first, then reconnect your hearing aids to the broadcast.
Turn on Audikast 4 and play TV audio
Turn on the transmitter and TV, then play a program or video that has sound.
Check the Audio Signal
Look at the Audio Signal indicator on Audikast 4.
Audikast 4 is receiving audio from the TV. Continue below.
The TV may be sending an unsupported audio format.
Set the TV's Digital Audio Output or Digital Sound Format to PCM.
Make sure Hearing Aid Mode is active
The Hearing Aid Mode indicator should be SOLID WHITE.
Restart the hearing aids and phone
Place both hearing aids back in their charging case, restart your phone, then take the hearing aids out again.
Reconnect the hearing aids to your phone
Check your phone's Bluetooth / Accessibility (Hearing Aid) settings and confirm the hearing aids are connected.
Join the Audikast 4 broadcast
Open your hearing aid companion app and find the Auracast broadcast list.
Select Audikast 4 to join its broadcast.
If you see “Auracast info not available” but Audikast 4 can still be selected, select it and continue.
Test the TV sound
Listen for TV audio through your hearing aids. If sound is working, adjust the volume through your phone or hearing aid companion app as needed.
After your hearing aids have successfully joined the Audikast 4 broadcast, try turning Bluetooth OFF on your phone. This can help prevent another phone audio stream from interrupting the TV broadcast.
Hearing aids are playing the TV audio
If you can hear the program clearly, you're all set.
Headphones / Earbuds
Check the TV audio signal first, then confirm your headphones are connected to Audikast 4.
Turn on Audikast 4 and play TV audio
Turn on the transmitter and TV, then play a program or video that has sound.
Check the Audio Signal
Look at the Audio Signal indicator.
Audikast 4 is receiving TV audio.
Set the TV's digital audio output to PCM.
Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices
Turn Bluetooth OFF on phones, tablets, computers, or TVs that your headphones have previously connected to.
Your headphones may automatically reconnect to another device instead of Audikast 4.
Check the Bluetooth indicator
Your headphones / earbuds are connected.
Your headphones / earbuds are not connected yet.
If flashing, pair your headphones again
Put your headphones or earbuds into their Bluetooth pairing mode, then pair them with Audikast 4.
Then play TV audio again and test the sound.
Check the volume
Increase the volume using your headphones / earbuds or the Audikast 4 volume controls.
Headphones are playing the TV audio
If you can hear the program clearly, you're all set.
Still No Sound?
Choose what you're seeing for the quickest next check.
Audio Signal is FLASHING WHITE
The TV may be sending an unsupported audio format such as Dolby or DTS.
Set the TV's Digital Audio Output / Digital Sound Format to PCM, then play the TV program again.
Hearing aids are connected to my phone, but there's no TV sound
Being connected to the phone does not necessarily mean the hearing aids have joined the Audikast 4 broadcast.
Open your hearing aid companion app and select:
Find a broadcast → Audikast 4
Audikast 4 is in the wrong mode
For hearing aids, Audikast 4 must be in Hearing Aid Mode. Confirm the Hearing Aid Mode indicator is SOLID WHITE.
Bluetooth headphones keep connecting somewhere else
Temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, TVs, or other devices your headphones have previously paired with.
Then reconnect the headphones / earbuds to Audikast 4.
Hearing aids connect, but TV audio keeps stopping
Calls, music, videos, notifications, or other phone audio can interrupt the TV broadcast.
After the hearing aids successfully join Audikast 4, stop other audio streams. If needed, turn Bluetooth OFF on the phone and test the TV sound again.
