Harmony A2 – Advanced Firmware Update Features

Update the Harmony A2 firmware to enable advanced features.

DFU means Device Firmware Update.
Only install this update if you need one of the advanced features below.

Keep the Speaker On While Plugged In

By default, the Harmony A2 turns off after 60 minutes without audio.

After the firmware update, the speaker can stay on continuously while connected to external power, even when no audio is playing.

Multiple Systems in the Same Space

A future DFU update will allow multiple Auracast channels in the same environment.

Each speaker group will be able to join a different channel. For example, one group can play audio from Source A while another group plays audio from Source B, without audio mixing or cross-talk.

Hearing-Aid Support Settings

A future DFU update will add a hearing-aid mode, allowing the Harmony A2 transmitter to support compatible Auracast hearing aids.
