Harmony A2 – Factory Reset

If your devices fail to connect or you want to remove old Bluetooth connections, follow the steps below to reset them.
(Note: Reset only clears classic Bluetooth pairing; it does not affect Auracast connections.)

Reset the Transmitter

1. Connect the transmitter to power, and turn it on.

2. Press & hold “+” and “–” buttons together for 10 seconds.

   The "Phone" LED will flash red & blue. This will clear classic Bluetooth pairing history and enter pairing mode. 

Reset the Speakers

1. Turn on the speaker

Make sure the Harmony A2 is powered on.

2. Switch to Classic Bluetooth mode

Single-press the Bluetooth Mode switch to ensure the speaker is in Classic Bluetooth mode before performing the reset.

3. Enter reset mode

Press and hold the “+” and “–” buttons together for about 5 seconds.

4. Confirm the reset

The LED will turn pink for about 2 seconds to confirm the reset.

✅ This clears Classic Bluetooth pairing history and switches the speaker to Auracast Broadcasting mode.
