When the C82 Aura is set to Encrypted Broadcast, some hearing aids may not be able to automatically reconnect and will prompt for the password each time. This is because certain hearing aids do not support saving the previous broadcast credentials or auto-reconnection.
How to avoid entering the password every time?
If you prefer not to enter the password repeatedly, you can switch the broadcast to public mode:
Open the Avantree Updater App
Go to Settings
Change the broadcast mode from Encrypted to Public
Ongoing improvements
We are also communicating with hearing aid manufacturers to see if auto-reconnection or credential-saving can be improved on the hearing aid side.
