C82 Aura – Volume Too Loud or Not Adjustable?

If you find that the C82 Aura’s volume cannot be adjusted or the minimum volume is still too loud, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

1. Update your C82 Aura to the latest firmware (V20.6.0)

Firmware V20.6.0 adds a new feature that allows you to adjust the default output volume of the C82 Aura directly in the Avantree Updater App.

2. Adjust the C82 Aura’s default output volume in the Avantree Updater App

After updating to V20.6.0, you can change the device’s output volume in the Setting tab of the Updater App. 

(Note: The default output volume affects the overall loudness heard on the receiving device (hearing aids / earbuds / phone).

3. Also check the volume on your media player

Besides the transmitter’s output level, the final listening volume is also affected by:

• Your media player’s in-app volume (YouTube, Spotify, VLC, etc.)

Please ensure these are not set too high.
