Audio Does Not Sound Right?
Poor or unusual audio can happen because of wireless interference, the audio connection, your TV audio settings, or the selected sound mode. Follow the checks below in order.
Check the Audio Connection
A loose or unstable cable connection can affect audio quality.
- Unplug the audio cable from the TV or audio source and from the transmitter.
- Plug both ends back in firmly.
- Play a TV program again and check the sound.
Using an Optical Cable?
Make sure your TV's Digital Audio Output Format is set to PCM.
Test the Sound Again
Play the same TV program again. If the audio now sounds more natural, you can continue using Balanced Mode.
Why Can Balanced Mode Help?
Starting with batch T24J1, Voice Clear Mode provides stronger speech clarity. For some listeners, this can make normal TV audio sound less natural. Balanced Mode provides a more balanced sound profile.
Balanced Mode Settings
- EQ adjustment is not available on batches before T24D2.
- Balanced Mode stays saved after a normal power off and power on.
- A factory reset changes the EQ back to Voice Clear Mode.
