Harmony A1 – Volume Too Low?

Harmony A1 has three separate volume controls. Check all three if the sound is too quiet.

Check all three volume levels: your audio source, the transmitter, and each individual speaker.

First, increase the volume on the device sending audio to Harmony A1.

Set the source device volume to around 80%.

If the source volume is too low, Harmony A1 may still sound quiet even when the transmitter and speakers are turned up.

Using more than one speaker? Adjust each speaker separately. One speaker may be set lower than the others.

Only One Speaker Is Too Quiet

Press the + button on that speaker. Each Harmony A1 speaker has its own volume level, so one speaker can be quieter than the others.

Volume Is High but Sound Is Distorted

Do not continue increasing the volume. Lower it slightly.

If the audio is distorted, unstable, or breaking up at a comfortable volume, use the troubleshooting guide below.

Still Too Quiet?

Try a different song, video, TV channel, or app. Some audio content is recorded at a lower volume than others.
