AcuEar Pebble – Why Is the Hearing Assist Microphone in the Case?
AcuEar Pebble has microphones in the earbuds, but Hearing Assist Mode uses the microphone in the charging case.
This is intentional. You can place the Case Mic closer to the person or sound you want to hear.
The Earbuds Do Have Microphones
🎧 Earbud Microphones
Used mainly for Bluetooth calls.
🎤 Case Microphone
Used for Hearing Assist Mode.
Example – Talking With Someone
- Wear your AcuEar Pebble earbuds.
- Place the Case Mic on the table closer to the person speaking.
- Keep the microphone opening uncovered.
- Listen through the earbuds.
- Adjust the earbud volume until the voice is comfortable.
Where Should I Put the Case Mic?
- Place it closer to the person you want to hear.
- Keep the microphone opening uncovered.
- Do not leave it inside a pocket or bag.
- Move it away from unnecessary background noise when possible.
Something Doesn't Look Right?
I Can Hear Too Much Background Noise
Move the Case Mic closer to the person you want to hear and farther away from the unwanted noise.
The Person's Voice Is Too Quiet
Move the Case Mic closer to the person speaking.
Press the ＋ button gradually until the voice is comfortable.
Can I Use the Earbud Microphones for Hearing Assist Mode?
No. Hearing Assist Mode uses the microphone in the case. The earbud microphones are mainly used for Bluetooth calls.
