Why Acuear Pebble does not have hearing aids microphone on the earbuds?

Acuear Pebble is actually a 2-in-1 device. The microphones on the earbuds are primarily for standard Bluetooth headset functions, not for hearing assistance. The microphone used for hearing assistance is located in the case.

There are many hearing aids on the market that use sophisticated algorithms to filter out environmental noise and amplify the sounds you want to hear. However, achieving this can be challenging. Our unit takes a simpler approach, ensuring that the sound you want to hear is physically closest to the microphone, which provides the easiest and most effective results. 

We are also working on a solution that involves a clipped-on microphone, rather than a microphone in the case. Avantree is strategically focusing on this approach instead of the classic hearing aids approach, which uses the microphone on the earbuds.
