AcuEar Pebble – Tips for Better Hearing & Everyday Use
Use these tips to get clearer sound and make your AcuEar Pebble easier to use.
1 – Place the Case Near the Person Speaking
In Hearing Assist Mode, the microphone is inside the charging case.
- Place the case on a table near the person speaking.
- Point the microphone area toward them.
- Keep the microphone uncovered.
2 – Adjust the Volume Slowly
Start at a comfortable, lower volume. Increase it one level at a time until voices are clear. If surrounding sounds become too loud, lower the volume slightly.
3 – Choose the Right Mode
Hearing Assist Mode
Use this to hear people and sounds around you more clearly. It is useful for conversations, family gatherings, restaurants, and meetings.
Bluetooth Mode
Use this for audio from your phone, tablet, or computer, including music, videos, and phone calls.
4 – You Can Use Just One Earbud
You do not need to wear both earbuds. Put the earbud you do not need back in the case and use the remaining earbud normally. Press its multifunction button once to adjust the volume. The volume cycles through 8 levels.
5 – For Clearer Conversations
- Move the case closer to the person speaking.
- Point the case microphone toward them.
- Make sure nothing covers the microphone.
- Adjust the volume gradually.
In a noisy room, moving the case closer to the person speaking can make a noticeable difference.
Something Doesn’t Look Right?
Voices Are Still Too Quiet
Move the case microphone closer to the person speaking, then increase the earbud volume gradually.
Background Noise Is Too Loud
Lower the earbud volume slightly, then move the case closer to the person you want to hear.
I Hear My Phone Instead of Surrounding Sounds
Make sure the AcuEar Pebble is in Hearing Assist Mode, not Bluetooth Mode.
I Only Want to Use One Earbud
That is okay. You can use either earbud by itself. Put the unused earbud back in the charging case.
