Poor Audio When Connecting Two Pairs of TWS Earbuds
Are you experiencing audio cuts, static, or frequent disconnections when using two pairs of wireless earbuds with one Bluetooth transmitter? Here's why this happens and what you can do.
Why Does This Happen?
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds use Bluetooth to communicate with each other and with the transmitter.
When two pairs are connected to one transmitter, several Bluetooth connections must work at the same time.
This can cause:
- Sound cutting in and out
- Frequent Bluetooth disconnections
- Audio interruptions in one or both pairs
- Unstable sound quality
Step 1 – Test One Pair at a Time
- Turn OFF the second pair of earbuds.
- Keep only the first pair connected to the transmitter.
- Play music or a video for a few minutes.
- Check whether the sound is clear and stable.
- Repeat the test using only the second pair.
Step 2 – Use One Pair for a More Stable Connection
For the best chance of stable audio, we recommend using one pair of TWS earbuds at a time with your transmitter.
This reduces the number of active Bluetooth connections and may help prevent audio interruptions.
Why Do Two Pairs of TWS Earbuds Cause Connection Problems?
1. Multiple Bluetooth Connections
Each TWS pair needs to keep its left and right earbuds synchronized while receiving audio from the transmitter. Using two pairs increases wireless traffic and may cause audio interruptions.
2. Bluetooth Compatibility
Different earbud brands use different Bluetooth chips and connection technologies. Some combinations may not work reliably together.
3. Limited Wireless Capacity
Sending audio to two TWS pairs simultaneously can place additional demands on the transmitter and earbuds, resulting in unstable connections.
What If One Pair Also Has Audio Problems?
If the sound cuts out even when using only one pair, try these checks:
- Keep your earbuds close to the transmitter.
- Move the transmitter away from Wi-Fi routers and other wireless devices.
- Make sure the earbuds are fully charged.
- Turn the transmitter and earbuds OFF, then back ON.
- Test the audio again.
