Connect Bluetooth Headphones / Speakers to DG80P
Follow these 3 simple steps to connect your Bluetooth headphones or speakers to the Avantree DG80P USB audio adapter.
These pairing instructions apply when using DG80P with a compatible PC or PS5.
DG80P works as a USB audio device. Your PC recognizes it as a USB sound card or speaker, so a new Bluetooth icon will not appear.
Your headphones or speakers connect directly to DG80P, not to your computer's built-in Bluetooth.
Plug DG80P into Your PC or PS5
Insert DG80P into an available USB port on your computer or PS5.
You do not need to search for DG80P in your computer's Bluetooth settings. The Bluetooth connection happens directly between DG80P and your headphones or speakers.
Put DG80P into Bluetooth Pairing Mode
Follow the instructions that match how you are using DG80P.
DG80P automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode when plugged in for the first time.
Press and hold the MFB button until the LED flashes blue and white rapidly.
For previously used DG80P adapters, release the button once rapid blue-and-white flashing begins.
DG80P is now in Bluetooth pairing mode and ready to connect.
Put Your Headphones / Speakers into Pairing Mode
Turn on your Bluetooth headphones or speakers and activate their Bluetooth pairing mode.
Many headphones and speakers automatically enter pairing mode when powered on for the first time.
Manually activate pairing mode using your headphone or speaker's pairing controls.
If your headphones were previously connected to a phone, tablet, or computer, simply turning them on may cause them to reconnect to that device.
Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on previously paired devices before continuing.
