How to use SoundJet R2 with PC

Use SoundJet R2 for PC Audio and Calls

The SoundJet R2 supports USB audio input, so you can use it with a computer for listening to audio and making calls through compatible Bluetooth headphones.

Plug SoundJet R2 into Your Computer

Connect the SoundJet R2 to an available USB port on your PC.

Pair Your Bluetooth Headphones

Put your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode and connect them to the SoundJet R2.

Wait until the devices are connected before changing the computer's audio settings.

Select SoundJet R2 in Your Computer's Audio Settings

Set Avantree SoundJet R2 as both the audio output and input device.

Select These Audio Devices
Speaker / Output Avantree SoundJet R2
Microphone / Input Avantree SoundJet R2
Windows — Show Audio Settings
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to System → Sound.
  3. Under Output, select Avantree SoundJet R2.
  4. Under Input, select Avantree SoundJet R2.

Mac — Show Audio Settings
  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
  2. Select Sound.
  3. Under Output, select Avantree SoundJet R2.
  4. Under Input, select Avantree SoundJet R2.

Using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Other Meeting Apps?

If you're making voice or video calls, you also need to select SoundJet R2 inside your meeting application.

Use the same device for both: Speaker = Avantree SoundJet R2
Microphone = Avantree SoundJet R2
Zoom — Show Setup Steps
  1. Open Zoom.
  2. Go to Settings → Audio.
  3. Set Speaker to Avantree SoundJet R2.
  4. Set Microphone to Avantree SoundJet R2.

Microsoft Teams — Show Setup Steps
  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Open Settings or Device settings in a meeting.
  3. Under Audio devices, select Avantree SoundJet R2.
  4. Confirm that both Speaker and Microphone are set to Avantree SoundJet R2.

Skype or Other Calling Apps

Open the application's Audio or Device Settings.

Choose Avantree SoundJet R2 for both the speaker and microphone, where those options are available.

Setup Complete

Your SoundJet R2 is ready to use for PC audio. For calls, make sure the correct speaker and microphone are selected in your meeting software.
