HT4186 – Use the Headphones with Another Bluetooth Device
Use the NB16 headphones by themselves with a phone, tablet, computer, Smart TV, or other Bluetooth audio device.
Step 1 – Turn OFF the HT4186 Transmitter
Turn the Audikast Plus transmitter OFF. If the NB16 was previously connected to another nearby phone, tablet, or computer, turn Bluetooth OFF on that device too.
Step 2 – Put the NB16 in Pairing Mode
Start with the NB16 OFF. Press and hold the MFB / middle button. Keep holding until the LED starts flashing.
You should also hear “Pairing.”
Step 3 – Connect from Your Device
- Open your device’s Bluetooth Settings.
- Search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Select HT4186 or NB16.
You should also hear “Connected.”
Reconnect Next Time
Keep the HT4186 transmitter OFF, then turn ON the NB16 headphones. If they do not reconnect automatically, open your device’s Bluetooth settings and select HT4186 / NB16.
Want to Use the Headphones with the HT4186 Again?
- Turn Bluetooth OFF on the other device.
- Turn the NB16 headphones OFF.
- Turn ON the HT4186 transmitter.
- Turn ON the NB16 headphones.
- Wait 5–10 seconds.
Transmitter A / 1 = Solid BLUE
NB16 = Solid BLUE
The original HT4186 set is factory paired and locked, so you normally do not need to pair it again.
Something Doesn’t Look Right?
NB16 Is Not Flashing RED & BLUE
The headphones may only be turned ON. Turn the NB16 OFF, then press and hold the MFB / middle button until the LED flashes RED & BLUE.
NB16 Does Not Reconnect to the HT4186 Later
Turn Bluetooth OFF on the other device, then turn ON the transmitter and NB16 headphones. Wait 5–10 seconds.
