HT4186 – Headphones Not Connecting? Pair & Lock Them Again
Follow these steps if your HT4186 headphones and transmitter no longer reconnect automatically.
Important: Do not stop after pairing. Complete the LOCK step so the headphones can reconnect automatically next time.
Before You Start
Turn your TV OFF and turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, laptops, TVs, and other devices previously connected to the headphones to help avoid interference.
Step 1 – Put the Transmitter Into Pairing Mode
Make sure the transmitter is ON.
Press and hold the A / 1 button until the Bluetooth indicator next to A / 1 flashes Red and Blue.
Step 2 – Put the Headphones Into Pairing Mode
Start with the headphones OFF.
Find the MFB button
MFB = the middle button
It is located between the + and − buttons.
Press and hold the MFB (Multi-Function Button). Keep holding until the headphone LED flashes Red and Blue. You may also hear “Pairing.”
Important: Simply turning the headphones ON is not enough. Make sure the LED is flashing Red and Blue.
Step 3 – Keep Them Close and Wait
Keep the headphones close to the transmitter. Do not press any more buttons. Wait a few seconds for them to connect.
Step 4 – LOCK the Headphones to the Transmitter
DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
On the transmitter, press and hold the A / 1 button for about 10 seconds.
Release the button when the A / 1 indicator briefly turns Pink.
Step 5 – Test Automatic Reconnection
- Turn the headphones OFF.
- Turn the transmitter OFF.
- Wait about 5 seconds.
- Turn the transmitter back ON.
- Turn the headphones back ON.

If they reconnect automatically, you're done. Turn your TV back ON and use the HT4186 normally.
