Dulcet Pro – How to Mute / Unmute the Microphone
Follow these simple steps to turn your headset microphone ON or OFF.
Step 1 – Find the Microphone Button
- Locate the in-line controller on your headset cable.
- Find the MIC ON/OFF button at the top of the controller.
Important: Do not confuse this with the Music Mute button at the bottom of the controller.
Step 2 – Mute or Unmute the Microphone
- Use the MIC ON/OFF button to change the microphone setting.
- Check the indicator light to confirm whether the microphone is ON or OFF.
Microphone Indicator Lights
Solid Red – Microphone Muted (OFF)
Solid Blue – Microphone Unmuted (ON)
Step 3 – Test Your Microphone
- Make sure the indicator is Blue.
- Speak into the microphone during a call or microphone test.
- Check that the other person can hear you.
Microphone ON but Others Still Can't Hear You?
- Make sure the microphone indicator is Blue.
- Check that your microphone is not muted in Zoom, Teams, or your calling app.
- In your computer's sound settings, select the Avantree headset as the Input (Microphone).
- Test the microphone again.
