Dulcet Pro – How to Mute / Unmute the Speaker

Learn how to turn the sound in your headset OFF or ON.

Step 1 – Find the Music Mute Button

Locate the in-line controller on your headset cable.
Find the Music Mute button at the bottom of the controller.

Important: Do not confuse this with the MIC ON/OFF button at the top of the controller. That button controls your microphone, not the sound you hear.

Step 2 – Mute or Unmute the Sound

Press the Music Mute button once to mute the sound in your headset.
Press the same button again to unmute and restore the sound.

Note: Muting the speaker only stops the sound you hear. It does not mute your microphone.

Step 3 – Test the Sound

Play music or a video on your computer.
Press Music Mute to stop the sound.
Press it again to hear the sound.

Still No Sound After Unmuting?

Press the Music Mute button again to check whether the sound returns.
Increase the volume using the + button on the headset controller.
Make sure your computer's volume is not muted.
Check that the Avantree headset is selected as the Output (Speaker) in your computer's sound settings.
Unplug the headset and reconnect it if needed.
