Dulcet Pro – Basic Controls Guide

Learn how to control your headset's volume, microphone, and sound.

Your Dulcet Pro has 4 buttons on the in-line controller attached to the headset cable.

Step 1 – Find the In-Line Controller

Follow the cable connected to your Dulcet Pro headset.
Find the small controller with 4 buttons.

Step 2 – Learn What Each Button Does

1. MIC ON/OFF – Microphone Control

Use this button to mute or unmute your microphone during a call.

Solid Red – Microphone Muted

Solid Blue – Microphone ON

2. Volume +

Press + to increase the sound volume.

3. Volume −

Press − to decrease the sound volume.

4. Music Mute – Speaker Control

Press once to mute the sound you hear. Press again to restore the sound.

Important: The MIC ON/OFF button controls what others hear from you. The Music Mute button controls the sound you hear through your headset.

Step 3 – Test the Buttons

Connect your headset to your computer.
Play music or a video and try the +, −, and Music Mute buttons.
During a call, use MIC ON/OFF to mute or unmute your microphone.

Buttons Not Working?

Unplug the headset and reconnect it to your computer.
Try another USB port.
Make sure the Avantree headset is selected in your computer's Sound settings.
Restart your computer and test the buttons again.
