Dulcet Pro – Step 2: Audio Settings

Set your computer to use the Dulcet Pro headset for sound and microphone.

Before You Start: Make sure your Dulcet Pro headset is plugged into your computer's USB port.

Step 1 – Open Your Computer's Sound Settings

Choose your computer type below.

Windows PC
  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Go to System → Sound.
Mac
  1. Click the Apple menu.
  2. Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older Macs).
  3. Select Sound.

Step 2 – Select Avantree for Sound and Microphone

  1. Under Output (Speaker), select the device named Avantree.
  2. Under Input (Microphone), select Avantree again.

Correct Audio Settings

Output (Speaker): Avantree

Input (Microphone): Avantree

Step 3 – Test Your Headset

  1. Play a video or music to check the sound.
  2. Speak into the headset microphone and check the input level in your computer's Sound settings.
  3. If both are working, your Dulcet Pro is ready to use.
Can't Find Avantree in the Device List?
  1. Unplug the headset and reconnect it to your computer.
  2. Try another USB port.
  3. Close and reopen your computer's Sound settings.
  4. If the headset still does not appear, restart your computer and try again.
