Make sure that the earbuds are off. While they're off, slide the power switch to the "PAIR" side and hold it there until the LED starts flashing RED & BLUE. You should hear the "Pairing" voice prompt come from the headphones.
Note: if you are turning on the earbuds for the first time, the earbuds will automatically go into pairing mode (the LED will flash RED & BLUE).
Now that your headphones are in pairing mode, you're able to pair them with whichever device you want to use them with. Get the other device (Bluetooth transmitter, smartphone, laptop, etc.) into pairing mode, then keep them close together. After a few seconds, they'll connect to each other, and their respective LEDs will stop flashing and turn solid.
If your LED stays flashing RED & BLUE and never turns solid, that means your headphones are having trouble connecting with the other device. This is commonly due to wireless interference coming from other devices. Here's some things to try:
- Turn off Bluetooth on all Bluetooth devices in your vicinity. Alternatively, move away from those devices, or move those devices further away from you.
- Move away from your Smart TV, or turn the Smart TV off.
- Follow the instructions here
After performing these actions, try pairing the NB18 with your device again. If you're still having trouble, email us at support@avantree.com
