Before You Start: No sound usually means the NB15T earphones are not connected to the transmitter, the TV is not sending a compatible audio signal, or the audio cable is connected incorrectly. Follow these three steps to find the problem.
Step 1 – Check the Earphone Connection
Turn on the Medley Air transmitter and NB15T earphones. Check the transmitter’s “1” indicator and the earphone indicators.
Not Connected? Follow the pairing guide to reconnect the NB15T earphones. Test the sound before locking the connection.
How to Pair & Lock the Earphones →Step 2 – Check the TV Audio Signal & Settings
Play TV audio and check the transmitter’s audio signal indicator.
Why PCM? For Optical connections, the transmitter needs a compatible stereo signal. Set the TV audio format to PCM / Stereo. Dolby, DTS, or Bitstream may cause no sound.
Choose your TV connection type and follow the matching instructions.
Step 3 – Check the Cable, Volume & Restart
1. Check the cable connection: Make sure the cable is securely connected to the correct input port on the transmitter. Use only one audio connection: Optical or AUX.
Connect to the transmitter’s OPT input from TV.
Connect to the transmitter’s AUX input from TV.
- Press + on the NB15T earphones to increase their volume. For AUX, also increase the TV volume.
- Make sure the TV is not muted. Try another channel, video, or app.
- If there is still no sound, try a new cable of the same type.
- Turn off the transmitter and earphones, then turn them back on and test again.
