Before You Start: No sound usually means the headphones are not connected to the transmitter, the TV is not sending a compatible audio signal, or the audio cable is loose. Follow these steps to find and fix the problem.
Step 1 – Check the Headphone Connections
Turn on the Audikast-3 transmitter and both NB16-Q headphones. Check the Bluetooth indicators for Headphone 1 and Headphone 2.
One or Both Headphones Not Connected? Follow the pairing guide to reconnect and lock the headphones to the transmitter.
How to Pair & Lock Headphones →Step 2 – Check the TV Audio Signal & Settings
Play TV audio and check the transmitter's OPT / AUX audio signal indicator.
Why PCM? For Optical connections, the transmitter needs a compatible stereo signal. Set the TV audio format to PCM / Stereo. Dolby, DTS, or Bitstream may cause no sound.
Choose your TV connection type and check the matching settings.
Step 3 – Check Connections, Volume & Restart
- Check that the audio cable is securely connected to the TV and transmitter. Use only one cable (Optical or AUX).
- Increase the volume (+) on both headphones. For AUX, increase TV volume. For Optical, try increasing the transmitter volume.
- Make sure the TV is not muted. Try another channel, video, or app.
- Try a NEW audio cable of the same type.
- Still no sound? Turn off the transmitter and both headphones. Turn them back on and test again.
No Sound on Certain Apps or Cable Boxes? Set the TV or streaming device's digital audio format to PCM / Stereo.
