How to Update Aria Aura / Aria Aura T Firmware with the Avantree App

This guide applies to: Aria Aura / AS90R and Aria Aura T / AS90R-T.

Use the Avantree App on your iPhone or Android phone to update the headphones to the latest firmware. Complete the steps below in order.

Before you start

• Charge the headphones before beginning the update.
• Turn on Bluetooth and connect your phone to the internet.
• Keep the headphones close to your phone until the update is complete.

Step 1: Download or update the Avantree App

Install the latest version of the Avantree App from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Step 2: Pair the headphones with your phone

1. Turn on the headphones.
2. Slide the selector to Pair with Phone. The LED should flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your phone, open Settings > Bluetooth.
4. Tap Avantree Aria Aura, then wait until your phone shows it as connected.

Important: Keep the selector in the Pair with Phone position during the firmware update.

Step 3: Add Aria Aura in the Avantree App

1. Open the Avantree App.
2. Allow Bluetooth or Nearby Devices access if your phone asks for permission.
3. Tap +, then select Aria Aura.
4. Wait until the Aria Aura device card appears in the app and shows that the headphones are connected.

Step 4: Install the firmware update

1. Tap the Aria Aura device card in the app.
2. If an update is available, the app will display a firmware update message. Tap Confirm.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions. Keep the app open, Bluetooth on, and the headphones powered on and close to your phone.
4. Do not turn off the headphones or close the app until the app confirms that the update is complete.
