Firmware Update: Keep Speaker Powered On While Charging (No Auto Power-Off)

Default Behavior

By default, the Harmony A1 speaker will automatically power off after 60 minutes with no audio playback, even if a broadcast is joined.

Some users prefer the speaker to remain powered on continuously when connected to external power.

Solution – Firmware Update

A firmware update is available that allows the speaker to:

✔ Remain powered on while plugged in, even when no audio is playing.

How to Update

1. Download & install the Avantree Updater app:
   https://avantree.com/pages/firmware-updates/harmony-a1-le-audio-auracast-speaker-system

2. Open the Updater app.

3. Connect the speaker to your computer using a USB data cable.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Important: Reset After Updating

After completing the firmware update:

1. Turn on the speaker.

2. Press and hold “+” and “–” together for 5 seconds.

3. The MODE LED will turn pink for 2 seconds, then flash orange.

This will:

• Clear pairing history

• Restore Auracast Broadcasting mode
