Harmony A1 Solo – Can I Use the Speaker While Charging?

Yes. You can listen to the Harmony A1 Solo while it is charging.

How to Use It While Charging

Connect the speaker to a 5V/2A USB power source using the charging cable.
Turn the speaker ON.
Continue listening normally while it charges.

✅ You do not need to wait for the battery to finish charging before using the speaker.

Want the Speaker to Stay ON While Plugged In?

By default, the speaker may still automatically turn OFF after a period with no audio, even while connected to power.

To keep it ON continuously while plugged in, install the No Auto Power-Off firmware update.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Speaker Is Not Charging

Make sure the charging cable is fully connected.
Make sure the power adapter is working.
Use a 5V/2A power source.
Try another compatible USB cable or power adapter if needed.

Speaker Turns OFF While Still Plugged In

This can happen when there is no audio playing. To keep the speaker ON continuously while connected to power, install the No Auto Power-Off firmware update.
