Harmony A1 Solo – Can’t Pair / Can’t Join Auracast

First, choose how you want to connect your speaker.

Bluetooth → Phone, tablet, computer, or another Bluetooth device

Auracast → Auracast transmitter or Auracast broadcast

Bluetooth – Cannot Pair

Step 1 – Put the Speaker in Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Press and hold the Mode button for about 3 seconds.

Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode

If the light is ORANGE, the speaker is in Auracast mode instead.

Step 2 – Connect Your Device

Open Bluetooth Settings on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Turn Bluetooth ON.
Select Avantree Harmony A1.
Wait for the connection.

Solid BLUE = Connected

Bluetooth – Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Avantree Harmony A1 Does Not Appear

Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.

Flashing RED & BLUE

Keep your device within about 1 meter / 3 feet of the speaker. Then turn Bluetooth OFF and back ON on your device, and search again.

Harmony A1 Appears but Won’t Connect

On your phone or computer, find Avantree Harmony A1.
Select Forget / Remove Device.
On the speaker, press and hold + and − together for 5 seconds to clear Bluetooth memory.
Put the speaker back into Bluetooth pairing mode and pair again.

Bluetooth LED Is Solid but My Device Won’t Connect

Solid BLUE means the speaker is already connected to another Bluetooth device. Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby devices that previously used the speaker, then put the Harmony A1 Solo into pairing mode again.

Auracast – Cannot Join a Broadcast

Step 1 – Check the Auracast Source

Make sure your TV, transmitter, phone, or other source is actively broadcasting Auracast. The source must support Auracast; regular Bluetooth will not work for this connection.

Step 2 – Put Harmony A1 Solo in Auracast Mode

Double-click the Mode button to switch the speaker to Auracast mode.

Flashing ORANGE = Searching for Auracast

Keep the speaker within about 2–3 meters / 6–10 feet of the transmitter while connecting. Wait for the connection.

Auracast – Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Speaker Is Flashing RED & BLUE

RED & BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode. The speaker is not searching for an Auracast broadcast.

Double-click the Mode button to switch to Auracast mode. Look for Flashing ORANGE.

Speaker Is Flashing ORANGE but Won’t Connect

Make sure the Auracast transmitter is broadcasting.
Move the speaker closer to the transmitter.
Turn the Harmony A1 Solo OFF and back ON.
Wait for flashing ORANGE and let it search again.

Speaker Keeps Connecting by Bluetooth Instead

Once Bluetooth connects, Harmony A1 Solo stops searching for Auracast. Double-click the Mode button to clear the Bluetooth connection, then wait for flashing ORANGE.

Still Cannot Join Auracast

Restart the Auracast transmitter or broadcast device. Turn its Auracast broadcast back ON, then restart the Harmony A1 Solo and keep it nearby while it searches.
