Part 1. Classic Bluetooth – Cannot Pair
1) Make sure Harmony A1 Solo is in Bluetooth pairing mode
Bluetooth LED must be blinking red & blue.
If not, press & hold Mode for 3s to enter pairing mode.
2) Clear old Bluetooth records
On your phone/computer: remove “Avantree Harmony A1”.
On Harmony A1 Solo: press & hold "+" and "–" buttons together for 5 seconds to clear memory.
3) Bring devices closer
Keep devices within 1 meter during pairing.
4) Refresh Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth OFF → ON on your device.
5) Check if Harmony A1 Solo is connected elsewhere
If Bluetooth LED is solid, disconnect or clear pairing first.
Part 2. Auracast – Cannot Join
1) Confirm the transmitter is broadcasting Auracast
Only Auracast-enabled devices can connect.
Make sure the source is set to Auracast, not Bluetooth.
2) Stay close to the transmitter
Recommended distance: 2–3 meters.
3) Restart scanning
Turn Harmony A1 Solo OFF → ON to reset search.
Auracast LED should be blinking orange.
4) Avoid Bluetooth / Auracast conflict
Harmony A1 Solo scans both modes, but:
Once Bluetooth connects, Auracast scanning stops.
To reconnect Auracast: double-press Mode to clear Bluetooth connections.
5) Restart the Auracast broadcast device
Reboot the TV / transmitter / phone.
Re-enable the Auracast broadcast channel.
