Harmony A2 Solo – Cannot Pair / Connect

First, choose how you want to connect. Auracast and Bluetooth use different connection modes.

Auracast Transmitter
Use Auracast

Phone, Tablet, Computer, or Bluetooth TV
Use Bluetooth

Connect with Auracast

Do not use the normal Bluetooth device list. The speaker must join the Auracast broadcast while it is in Auracast mode.

Step 1 – Turn On the Auracast Broadcast

Turn ON your Auracast transmitter or broadcast source and make sure it is actively broadcasting audio.

Step 2 – Switch the Speaker to Auracast Mode

Turn the Harmony A2 Solo ON, then press the Auracast button once to switch to Auracast mode.

Keep the speaker about 1–3 meters (3–10 feet) from the Auracast source while connecting.

Step 3 – Wait for the Connection

Wait a few seconds for the speaker to find and join the Auracast broadcast.

Solid ORANGE = Auracast connected. Play audio from the source to test the speaker.

Auracast Still Will Not Connect

Confirm that the source is broadcasting Auracast, not regular Bluetooth.
Confirm that the speaker is in Auracast mode.
Move the speaker within 1–3 meters (3–10 feet) of the source.
Turn both devices OFF. Turn the Auracast source ON first, then turn the Harmony A2 Solo ON and try again.

Connect with Bluetooth

Use these steps when connecting directly to a phone, tablet, computer, or Bluetooth-enabled TV.

Step 1 – Turn Bluetooth Off on Other Devices

Temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, and TVs you are not using. This prevents the speaker from reconnecting to another device.

Step 2 – Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Turn the Harmony A2 Solo ON. Press and hold its Bluetooth button until the LED flashes red and blue.

Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode

Seeing an ORANGE light? The speaker is in Auracast mode and will not appear in the normal Bluetooth device list.

Step 3 – Connect from Your Device

Open Settings → Bluetooth.
Select Avantree Harmony A2 Solo.
Wait for the connection to complete.

Solid BLUE = Bluetooth connected. Play some audio to test the speaker.

Speaker Does Not Appear in the Bluetooth List

Confirm that the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode:

Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode

Turn Bluetooth OFF on your phone or device.
Wait about 5 seconds.
Turn Bluetooth back ON.
Search for Avantree Harmony A2 Solo again.

Harmony A2 Solo Appears but Will Not Connect

The speaker may already be connected to another nearby device. Turn Bluetooth OFF on other phones, tablets, computers, and TVs.

Put the speaker back into pairing mode, then select Avantree Harmony A2 Solo again.

Still Cannot Connect with Bluetooth? Reset the Speaker

Turn the Harmony A2 Solo ON.
Switch it to Classic Bluetooth mode.
Press and hold ＋ and − together for about 5 seconds.
Wait for the solid pink light.

Solid PINK for about 2 seconds = Reset complete

After resetting, the speaker switches to Auracast Broadcasting mode. Switch back to Bluetooth mode, wait for the two LEDs to flash red and blue, then connect through your device’s Bluetooth settings.
