The TV speakers and your Auracast hearing aids are playing the same audio at slightly different times. Hearing both together can create an echo.
Try these fixes
Lower the TV speaker volume
Reduce the TV volume and increase the volume on your hearing aids instead.
Use Standard / Normal sound mode
Turn off sound enhancements or processing that may add additional audio delay.
Check Audio Delay / AV Sync
If your TV has this setting, adjust it slightly and listen for the position with the least echo.
Turn off the TV speakers
If the echo continues, mute the TV and listen through your hearing aids only.
Use your hearing aids as the main audio source.
Muting the TV speakers removes the timing difference between the TV speakers and Auracast audio, which usually eliminates the echo.
Avoid extra TV sound processing
These modes can add processing or change the audio format, making delay or compatibility problems more noticeable.
Need the TV speakers and hearing aids at the same time?
If other people need external audio while you listen through Auracast, using a wired speaker connected through an Auracast receiver can help keep both listening outputs on the same audio path.
Still hearing an echo?
Tell us your TV brand and model, how the Auracast transmitter is connected to the TV, and whether you need the TV speakers to remain on.
