If you’re using an Avantree Bluetooth headset for calls or meetings, you need to select it as both the Speaker and Microphone inside the app.
App audio settings can override your system sound settings.
Choose Your App
Select the app you’re using from the list below and follow the corresponding steps.
Discord
Click User Settings (gear icon).
Go to Voice & Video.
Set Input Device to Headphones (Avantree).
Set Output Device to Headphones (Avantree).
Google Meet
Click Settings (gear icon) during or before a meeting.
Go to Audio.
Set Microphone to Headphones (Avantree).
Set Speakers to Headphones (Avantree).
Use Test if needed to confirm audio output.
Microsoft Teams
Open Settings in Teams.
Go to Devices (or Audio).
Set Speaker to Headphones (Avantree).
Set Microphone to Headphones (Avantree).
Webex
Open Settings.
Go to Audio.
Set Speaker to Headphones (Avantree).
Set Microphone to Headphones (Avantree).
Click Save to apply changes.
Zoom
Open Settings in Zoom.
Go to Audio.
Set Speaker to Headphones (Avantree).
Set Microphone to Headphones (Avantree).
Use Test Speaker / Test Mic to confirm.
Important Tips
Always select the Avantree device for both Speaker and Microphone
If you see Hands-Free and Stereo, choose Hands-Free
Restart the app if changes don’t take effect
Make sure the headset isn’t connected to another device at the same time
