If the microphone on your Lingo N21 isn’t working, check the following based on how you’re using it.
Using a Computer?
Step 1: Check System Sound Settings
Make sure both input and output are set correctly.
Open PC Settings → Sound
Set Output to Avantalk Lingo N21
Set Input to Avantalk Lingo N21
Tip:
If both “Hands-Free” and “Stereo” appear, select Hands-Free.
Step 2: Check Meeting or Calling App Settings
If you’re using apps such as Teams, Zoom, Discord, or other meeting apps:
Set Speaker to Avantalk Lingo N21
Set Microphone to Avantalk Lingo N21
App audio settings may override system settings.

Using a Phone?
When making or receiving a call:
On the call screen, make sure the audio device is set to Lingo N21
If another device (phone speaker, handset, or earbuds) is selected, the mic on Lingo N21 will not be used
Still Not Working?
Restart the device or app you’re using
Reconnect the Lingo N21
Make sure it’s not connected to another device at the same time
