If you experience no sound when using AuraPlex MX, please follow the steps below.
1. Check the Audio Source
Make sure the audio source (TV, sound system, microphone, or phone) is actively playing audio.
Increase the volume on the audio source to confirm sound output.
2. Check the Transmitter Input Mode
Confirm the transmitter is set to the correct input:
Bluetooth
Optical (OPT)
AUX
If the input LED is blinking, the transmitter is not receiving a valid audio signal.
3. For Optical (TV) Input
Go to your TV’s audio settings.
Set the audio output format to PCM.
Dolby / DTS formats are not supported and may result in no sound.
4. If Using Avantree Receivers
Make sure the receiver is powered on.
Plug wired earphones fully into the receiver.
Adjust the receiver volume.
If the receiver LED is blinking orange, turn the receiver off and then on again to rejoin the broadcast.
5. If Using Your Own Hearing Aids
Confirm your hearing aids are Auracast-compatible.
Make sure the hearing aids are powered on and connected to your phone.
Open your hearing aids’ companion app or Auracast assistant.
Re-scan for available Auracast broadcasts.
Select the Oasis Aura broadcast to join.
Move closer to the transmitter and try again if the broadcast does not appear.
Note: Not all hearing aids support Auracast. Please check with your hearing aid manufacturer for compatibility.
6. Still No Sound?
Restart the transmitter and receivers.
Try a different audio input (AUX or Bluetooth) to rule out source issues.
Contact Avantree Support for further assistance.
