Listen Through Both at the Same Time
Choose the connection your TV uses below, then follow the matching bypass diagram.

Open the diagram that matches how your TV is connected to the transmitter.
1 Optical Bypass Connection
TV Optical Out → OPT IN → OPT OUT → Soundbar Optical In
2 AUX Bypass Connection
TV Audio Out → AUX IN → AUX OUT → Soundbar AUX In
After Connecting
Check the Headphones First
Make sure TV audio is already playing through the headphones.
Match the Transmitter Input
Select OPT for Optical or AUX for AUX.
Select the Soundbar Input
Choose the matching Optical or AUX input on your soundbar, then adjust the soundbar volume.
Soundbar Uses HDMI ARC?
If your soundbar needs to remain connected to the TV through HDMI ARC, use one of these alternatives.
Option 1: HAX06
Use an HDMI ARC audio extractor to keep the soundbar on HDMI ARC while providing a separate audio output for the headphones.

Crescendo is another option if you need a TV headphone system designed to work with an HDMI ARC connection.

Headphones Work but the Soundbar Is Silent
- Make sure the soundbar is connected to the transmitter's OUT port.
- Confirm the connection matches: Optical to Optical or AUX to AUX.
- Select the matching input on the soundbar.
- Increase the soundbar volume.
Optical Connection Still Has No Sound
Confirm the connection is: TV Optical Out → OPT IN → OPT OUT → Soundbar Optical In.
Set the transmitter to OPT and the soundbar to its Optical input.
AUX Connection Still Has No Sound
Confirm the connection is: TV Audio Out → AUX IN → AUX OUT → Soundbar AUX In.
Set the transmitter to AUX and the soundbar to its AUX input.
