Avantree not showing in your hearing aid app?

If your Avantree transmitter does not appear in the Broadcast section of your hearing aid companion app, try these steps.

Update your device and app

Older software may not recognize the Auracast broadcast correctly.

Update your Avantree device to the latest available firmware.

Update your hearing aid companion app from the App Store or Google Play.

Put your Avantree device in broadcast mode

Power on the transmitter and switch it to its Auracast broadcast mode.

Depending on your Avantree model, this may be labeled:

BROADCAST TV AURACAST

Button operation and LED indicators vary by model. Refer to your model's manual or Buttons & Indicators guide if needed.

Restart and refresh the connection

Restart your phone.

Make sure your hearing aids are connected to your phone as required by the hearing aid manufacturer.

Open your hearing aid companion app and go to the Broadcast section.

Look for Avantree and select it to join the broadcast.

In your hearing aid app Broadcast → Avantree

Still not seeing Avantree?

Check Auracast support

Confirm that your hearing aids support Auracast.

Check broadcast mode

Make sure the Avantree transmitter is actively broadcasting in Auracast mode.

Move closer

Keep your hearing aids and phone close to the transmitter while searching.
