How to replace the remote control battery? – Avantree Support

If your remote control stops responding, the battery may need to be replaced.

The remote uses 1 × CR2025 3V button battery.

Turn the remote over.
Find the round battery cover on the back of the remote.
Use a small screwdriver to turn the cover counterclockwise, to the left.
Carefully remove the cover.

Turn LEFT to open the battery cover.

Important: Make sure the + and – sides of the new battery are facing the correct direction before closing the cover.

If you are unsure, check how the old battery was positioned before inserting the new battery.

Turn RIGHT to close the battery cover.

Do not overtighten the cover.

If the remote works again, the battery replacement is complete.

If the remote does not respond, try these checks one at a time:

Make sure you are using a CR2025 3V battery.
Remove the battery and make sure it is inserted in the correct direction.
Try another new CR2025 battery. The replacement battery may be weak.
Check that the battery and battery compartment contacts are clean and free of dirt.
Move closer to the Oasis Plus 2 and try the remote again.
