Oasis Plus 2 – How to Use with a Soundbar – Avantree Support

Yes — you can use your headphones and soundbar at the same time

The Oasis Plus 2 has an audio pass-through function. This allows audio to continue to your soundbar / stereo AVR while the Oasis Plus 2 sends audio to your headphones.

Important — the input and output connection must match If the TV connects to the Oasis Plus 2 using OPTICAL, the soundbar must also connect using OPTICAL. If the TV uses 3.5mm AUX, the soundbar / audio system must also use 3.5mm AUX.

How the Setup Works

TV / Audio Source

Connect an Additional Cable to the Oasis Plus 2

Plug an additional Optical or 3.5mm AUX cable into the matching port in the Oasis Plus 2's OUTPUT TO SPEAKER section.

TV connected by OPTICAL → use the OPTICAL OUTPUT TO SPEAKER port.

TV connected by AUX → use the matching AUX OUTPUT TO SPEAKER connection.

Connect the Other End to Your Sound System

Plug the other end of the cable into the matching audio input on your soundbar, speaker system, or stereo AVR.

Make sure the sound system is set to the same input you connected the cable to.

Which Cable Are You Using?

I'm using an Optical cable

Use Optical for both connections.

TV Optical Out → Oasis Plus 2 Optical In → Optical Output to Speaker → Soundbar Optical In

I'm using a 3.5mm AUX cable

Use the matching 3.5mm AUX connection between the TV, Oasis Plus 2, and external sound system.

TV AUX Out → Oasis Plus 2 AUX In → AUX Output to Speaker → Sound System AUX In

Setup Complete

Once connected correctly, you can listen through your headphones and external sound system simultaneously.

Soundbar has no sound?

First confirm that the connection types match: OPTICAL IN → OPTICAL OUT or AUX IN → AUX OUT. Also make sure the soundbar / audio system is set to the correct input.
