HT4186-Q – How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History

Use these steps if the headphones no longer reconnect to the transmitter, especially after using them with another Bluetooth device.

Important: Reset BOTH devices.

Reset the Audikast-3 transmitter and the NB16-Q headphones separately. Do not reset only one device.

Good to Know

The original transmitter and headphones are pre-paired and locked together. A reset clears other saved Bluetooth connections, but the original HT4186-Q connection remains paired and locked.

Step 1 – Reset the Audikast-3 Transmitter

Move the transmitter power switch to ON.
Press and hold the 1 and 2 buttons together for 10 seconds.
Keep holding until both Bluetooth indicators turn pink, then turn off.

PINK → OFF = Transmitter reset successful

The indicator next to 1 will then flash red and blue:

Flashing RED & BLUE = Pairing mode

Turn the transmitter OFF. Then reset the headphones.

Step 2 – Reset the NB16-Q Headphones

Make sure the headphones are ON.
Press and hold the + and − buttons together for 10 seconds.
Keep holding until the LED follows this sequence:

PINK for about 2 seconds → Solid RED for about 2 seconds → LED OFF

The headphone pairing history is now cleared.

Step 3 – Let Them Reconnect

Turn ON the Audikast-3 transmitter.
Turn ON the NB16-Q headphones.
Keep them close together.
Wait 5–10 seconds.

Transmitter = Solid BLUE Headphones = Solid BLUE. You will also hear “Connected.”

Reset and reconnection complete.

Something Doesn't Look Right?

Both Reset, but They Do Not Reconnect

Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, and computers.
Turn the transmitter and headphones OFF.
Turn both devices ON and keep them close together.
Wait 5–10 seconds.

Transmitter Does Not Turn Pink

Make sure the transmitter is ON. Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 together for the full 10 seconds. Do not release them early.

Headphones Do Not Turn Pink

Make sure the headphones are ON. Press and hold + and − together for the full 10 seconds. Look for PINK, then RED, then OFF.
