HT4186-Q – Power & Charging Guide

The NB16-Q headphones have a rechargeable battery, while the Audikast-3 transmitter must remain connected to power while in use.

Rechargeable battery. Charge using the provided USB-C cable.

Audikast-3 Transmitter

No built-in battery. Keep it connected to USB power while using it.

How to Charge the Headphones

Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the headphones, then connect the other end to a USB power source. A solid red LED means the headphones are charging.

A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
When the LED turns off, charging is complete and the headphones can be disconnected.
A full charge provides up to 20 hours of use at approximately 60% volume.

Quick charge: Approximately 15 minutes of charging provides up to 3 hours of use.

How to Power the Audikast-3 Transmitter

The Audikast-3 transmitter has no built-in battery.
Connect the provided USB-C cable to the transmitter.
Power it from your TV’s USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter.
Move the transmitter’s power switch to ON and keep it connected to power while using it.

Recommended power: 5V / 500mA–2A

Can I use the headphones while they are charging?

Yes. You can use the headphones while they are connected to the charging cable.

Do I have to wait until the battery is low before charging?

No. You can recharge the headphones at any time.

What charger should I use?

Use the provided charging cable with a standard 5V / 1A or 5V / 2A USB charger. Do not use chargers above that amperage.

Why doesn’t the transmitter hold a charge?

This is normal. The transmitter has no built-in battery and must remain connected to USB power while in use.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Headphones Are Not Charging

Unplug and reconnect the USB-C cable.
Make sure the cable is fully inserted.
Try another USB power source.
Try another USB-C cable if one is available.

Transmitter Will Not Turn On

Make sure the USB-C power cable is securely connected.
Try another USB power source.
Move the transmitter’s power switch to ON.
