Can I use the Quartet 2 / 5049P headphones with a TV or phone without the transmitter?
No, the included Quartet 2 / 5049P headphones connect exclusively to the transmitter using 2.4GHz technology, regardless of the audio signal input mode (Bluetooth, Optical, or AUX). While the transmitter supports Bluetooth 5.3, the headphones themselves are not equipped with Bluetooth functionality.
Can I pair different Bluetooth speaker to the transmitter?
No, the Avantree Flex Base transmitter does not support pairing with Bluetooth speakers. While it offers three audio input modes (Phone, OPT, and AUX), in Phone mode, it is designed to connect with audio source devices (such as Bluetooth-enabled phones, tablets, computers, or TVs) rather than audio output devices like Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or soundbars.
💡Tips:
1. To avoid sound cutting out:
🚫 Stay Within Range: Keep your Bluetooth device within 4.5m (15 ft) of the transmitter.
💡 Minimize Interference: Wi-Fi routers, access points, and microwaves use the 2.4GHz frequency and may disrupt the signal. Keep them as far away as possible from your headphones and transmitter.
2. The 5049 (Quartet, Quartet 2) series and the 5308 (Harmony, Harmony 2) series use the same 2.4GHz chipset. As a result, their transmitters and receivers (headphones and speakers) are compatible with one another. To pair them, simply put both the receivers and the transmitter into pairing mode.
3. The Updated Quartet-Extra headphones or speakers from our Harmony 5308 series support both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connections.
4. Not satisfied with the sound?
🎛️ Press "+" and "-" buttons on the transmitter simultaneously to switch between Normal, Voice Clear, and Bass EQ modes.
🔊 Not loud enough? Press "+" or "-" to adjust the volume within the selected mode.
