How Quartet 2 Works
Understand how the headphones connect, which devices are compatible, and how to adjust the sound.

Can I connect them directly to a TV or phone?
No. The Quartet 2 headphones must connect through the transmitter.
Can I pair a Bluetooth speaker to it?
No. The transmitter's Bluetooth mode is for receiving audio from a phone, tablet, computer, or compatible TV.
How the Connection Works
Your audio source sends sound to the transmitter, then the transmitter sends that sound to the Quartet 2 headphones.
Compatible Avantree Receivers
Some Avantree 2.4GHz headphones and speakers can also work with the Quartet 2 transmitter.
The Quartet / Quartet 2 5049 series and Harmony / Harmony 2 5308 series use the same 2.4GHz chipset.
Their compatible headphones and speakers can be paired by putting both the transmitter and receiver into pairing mode.
Harmony 5308 series speakers also support Bluetooth for use with compatible Bluetooth devices.
Adjust the Sound
Change the EQ Mode
Press the + and − buttons on the transmitter together to switch between Normal, Voice Clear, and Bass.
Adjust the Volume
Press + or − on the transmitter to adjust the volume within the selected sound mode.
Keep the Bluetooth source within about 3 m / 10 ft of the transmitter and move the setup away from Wi-Fi routers, access points, and microwaves when possible.
