Prolink - Troubleshoting: Resolving Audio Glitches and Playback Stutter – Avantree Support

Fix audio glitches or playback stuttering

If your ProLink audio keeps cutting out, glitching, or stuttering, update the DG60L USB transmitter to firmware V1.9 using a Windows PC.

Before You Start

You will need a Windows PC, your DG60L USB transmitter, and the two downloads below. Keep the transmitter plugged in throughout the firmware update. Do not disconnect it while the update is running.

Download These Two Files First 1. DG60L Firmware V1.9 ↓ Firmware file for fixing audio glitches and stuttering. 2. BlueSuite Windows Installer ↓ Software required to install the firmware update.

Step 1 of 5 Plug the DG60L into Your Windows PC

Connect the DG60L transmitter directly to a powered USB port on your Windows computer.

Download both files above before continuing.

The firmware update applies to the DG60L transmitter, not the AS70P receiver.

Step 2 of 5 Install BlueSuite

Extract the downloaded BlueSuite ZIP file, then double-click the installer.

If Windows asks whether you want to allow the installer to make changes, select Yes.

Step 3 of 5 Open HidDfuApp

Once BlueSuite is installed, open the Windows Start menu.

Search for HidDfuApp and open the application.

Step 4 of 5 Select the Firmware File and Click Run

In the HID DFU Application, click Choose and select the downloaded DG60L V1.9 firmware file.

Click Run to start the firmware update.

Leave the DG60L connected until the firmware update finishes. Do not unplug it during the process.

Step 5 of 5 Confirm the Firmware Update Is Complete

Wait for the update to finish.

The application should display a green progress bar and a message confirming that the upgrade completed successfully.

If the update reports an error or does not complete, do not assume the firmware was installed successfully. Contact Avantree Support for assistance.

After the Firmware Update

Reconnect your ProLink system and test audio playback. The DG60L V1.9 firmware update is intended to resolve audio glitches and playback stuttering.

If audio still stutters after a successful update, contact Avantree Support for further troubleshooting.
