ProLink - Use the AS70P Independently with a Bluetooth Device – Avantree Support

Use your AS70P without the ProLink USB transmitter

The AS70P can work independently as a regular Bluetooth receiver. Connect it directly to your phone or another Bluetooth audio transmitter without using the ProLink DG60L USB transmitter.

Before starting: Turn on your Bluetooth audio source and keep it close to the AS70P. If you're using wired headphones, plug them into the AS70P to hear the pairing and connection voice prompts.

Turn On the AS70P and Enter Pairing Mode

Slide the AS70P power switch to the ON position.

First-Time Use

The AS70P automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode the first time it is turned on.

Already Used the AS70P Before?

Slide and hold the switch toward the Bluetooth symbol for 2 seconds.

HOLD FOR 2 SECONDS

LED flashes RED and BLUE alternately.
The AS70P is now in pairing mode. If headphones are connected, you'll hear "pairing".

Connect from Your Bluetooth Device

On your phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth device, open Bluetooth Settings and turn Bluetooth on.

Search for and select:

Avantree AS70P

If you're using a separate Bluetooth transmitter instead of a phone, put that transmitter into pairing mode.

Wait for the Connection

Keep the AS70P and your Bluetooth device close together. Wait approximately 5–10 seconds for them to connect.

Connected Successfully The AS70P LED changes to a solid color. If headphones are plugged in, you'll hear "connected".

AS70P Not Connecting?

1. Make sure the AS70P LED is flashing red and blue alternately before attempting to connect.

2. Keep the AS70P and your Bluetooth device close together.

3. If the AS70P is already connected to another device, disconnect that device and try pairing again.

4. If pairing still fails, clear the AS70P pairing history and try again.
