Step 1: Understand your TV / audio source audio output options
Note: Valid RCA port must labeled "Audio OUT"
Step 2: Connect the transmitter to a power source
1. Plug the provided USB cable into the "DC IN" port of the transmitter.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable power source. You can use either:
- Your TV's USB port (recommended for automatic on/off syncing with your TV)
- A standard USB power adapter (5V, 0.5A - 2A)
Note: Since most people have a spare USB power adapter at home, we don't include one in the box. If you need one, please email us at support@avantree.com and we'll send you a free one.
Step 3: Connect the transmitter to your TV / audio source's audio output port
Option 1: Optical (Recommended)
Option 2: 3.5mm AUX
Option 3: RCA (RCA adapter not included; make sure the RCA ports are labeled "Audio OUT")
